Country Made, adulterated Liquor found in City

Berhampur: Illegally Country Made, adulterated Liquor suspected to be spurious has been detected by Police on Monday morning.
The country made distilled (ID) liquor has been detected by Gosainuagaon police station in Berhampur city of Odisha and one accused has been arrested.
The police got a tip-off a joint raid of Berhampur Excise Station and Gosaninuagaon Police conducted a joint raid at Lanjipalli Dipa Sahi and 425 litters of Country Made/ Adulterated Liquor suspected to be spurious was found illegal with One packing machine and other incriminating materials are seized from the possession of accused D. Udayabhanu Reddy (50 yrs) of Dipa Sahi, Berhampur.
On the written report of Inspector. Rosan Hasda of Berhampur Excise Station, Gosaninuagaon P.S. Case No. 69 dt 31.05.2021 u/s 272/273/34 IPC r.w. Sec 52(a)(i) /55 of the Odisha Excise Act is registered. The source of procurement of the liquor is being verified. Further investigation of the case is going on to establish the complicity of other accused persons.
