CONTRACTOR RUN FOR CONSTRUCTION COMPLETION WORK SANCTIONED AMOUNT BUT IN VEIN (?).

GAJAPATI,(Mohana):One contractor named Tarini Charan Nayak from Kaliapata village of Mohana of Gajapati district, assured of construction work of additional classroom of a Primary School at Ghaibali.
He completed construction work on November 2018.But so far he is yet to get assured amount of Rs.3 lakhs of construction work. Since last 2 years he vehemently running for his payment where he has to pay materials cost like sand,chips,iron rods, cement & brick etc which he brought on credit.
The Work order was in the name of JE of SSA Gopalkrushna Padhi & with an advice of the then Head Master Jayabharat Panigrahi,he had been approved for construction work.
After long huddles which were in vain to get his payment he lodged complain at District Labour Officer & DPC, Gajapati & petitioned at Mohana Police Station. Rather he has been continuously threatened by those officers who offered him the construction work.
In retrospect when asked JE & Head Master,they quipped that they did not know about Tarini Charan Nayak nor he afforded any construction work.
