Paralakhemundi-Bijay Kumar Patnaik,Chairman of State publicity Committee visited Paralakhemundi railway station.
He surprised to see the tragic situation of the station, moreover passengers stress & strain feeling he observed. Daily thousands plying but East Coast railway hardly feeling sanctity of the oldest station.He contacted with Union Railway Minister Aswini Vaisnav regarding upgradation of the station. Moreso migrants massively moving towards other states for earnings.No facilities to be captive of their luggages rather standing here & there.He did a video recording to make a neat proof. So better late than never Railway Minister assured Patnaik for arrangements. Among others Basant Kumar Panda, Bibhutibhusan Patra & Kuna Majhi were present.
