Confrontation between 2 Villagers on Land Issue

Paralakhemundi:On land grab issue between 2 rival villages reached at peak. In presence of police they trumbled dare devil by destroying non-tribal homes. At Dambaguda under Mohana police limits, more than 100 tribal people thrunged yesterday. Near Dambaguda village at Balipanka village in 4 acres of forest land those non-tribals are staying in cotteges. Further that plot was cultivated by tribals of Nilakuti of Baghamari panchayat which they were demanding. So their land has been unauthorizedly taken by Dalit community. So feeling violence ahead they reported at nearest police station & Tehsildar Mohana.Addl Tehsildar Ashis Kumar Pradhan,SI of Chandragiri outpost Niranjan Panigrahi reached at spot & compromised both rival parties. Rather those Balipanka inhabitants are reluctant to leave that place. After Addl Tehsildar returned SI tried to sort out them. On retrospect those tribals vehemently destroyed cotteges. A case(152/ 21)registered at Mohana police station, enquiry is going in, says Sujit Kumar Nayak, IIC of Mohana.
