COMMITMENT, DEDICATION, PASSION IS NEED OF THE HOUR-ANUP SATPATHY, DRM WALTAIR

Rayagada, June 10: Divisional Railway Manager Shri Anup Satpathy reiterated that the loyal employees are always assets to the organization. They work hard and are committed to the organization’s success. Devoted employees do their best and often even put the organization’s interests ahead of their own. But few miscreants who don’t do their job and spoil the entire team work taking shelter of antisocial activities.
The same issues have happened recently in Waltair Division when the administration has taken stringent action against the most corrupt, lazy and miscreant railway employees. The actions taken by the administration are essential to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the organization.
The Division is striving for excellence with support of all categories of employees regardless of rank, caste, religion or gender. There is no question of discrimination of employees by the Division at any level, rather the healthy relations flourished in these years which reflected not only in productivity but also in self-development. However, when a few employees engage in antisocial activities, fail to fulfil their duties or exhibit corrupt behaviour, it can negatively impact the entire team’s morale and performance. Such misconduct needs to be addressed promptly and firmly to protect the organization’s reputation and ensure fairness and justice for the dedicated employees.
Waltair Division adopted 5 Zs as principles – Zero tolerance for Unsafe working, Zero tolerance for Corruption, Zero tolerance for Indiscipline, Zero tolerance for Mischief and Zero tolerance for Middleman- towards such miscreant employees who are poor performers, black mailers and corrupt persons. The Railways, Waltair Division in particular, has its own well developed Disciplinary Rules, Regulations, Appeal and redressal systems. It is also to clarify that some section of people, who are not aware of miscreant activities of railway staff, are unfortunately making completely false, baseless and misleading allegations on the most sincere and honest senior doctors & staff. It is strongly condemned.
The Railway Administration knows that false and fake news is being planted by the miscreant railway employees, who have been dismissed from service or taken up strongly on various charges of corruption and misconduct.
Legal action has already been initiated against all such criminal elements who are intending to damage the image of the dignitaries and hence Railways. Disciplinary action will also be taken by the railway administration on such miscreants, who are spoiling the image of the Railways and administrative structure. This message was released by Sri A K Tripathi, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Visakhapatnam.
