Collector Visits Kashinagar Drought Situation

Paralakhemundi-Recentbhue & cry of severe drought at Kashinagar block a pensive news. Collector Gajapati Smrutiranjan Pradhan visited Kashinagar block & reviewed the situation. Paddy dependent farmers waived off rain since last 2 months. So now procurement time besieged with blank land. Even cotton field too on precarious conditions.
So Collector discussed with state Agriculture authorities & requested them to visit such candid scene where livelihoods almost hanged. So on very next day Tankadhar Sahu Addl. Director of Agriculture with his team visited those drought prone areas. Simultaneously visited Mega Lift Point at Kidigaon.
Among others block Chairperson Bala Sayamma, BDO Anup Panda, Sarpanch Ramprasad Patnaik & Sarpanch of Kidigaon were present.
