Koraput:Kotia is an integral part of Odisha and will remain in Odisha. The state government has always been keen on the development of Kotia. So there is a trend of development. Kotia residents also fully support Odisha. Andhra Pradesh could not bear to see it.
Koraput Collector cum Dist.Magistrate Mohammad Akhtar has strongly condemned the infiltration at the time and said Development work in Odisha is underway in Kotia. At a time when the Koraput administration is trying to normalize normal life in the wake of the cyclone, the administration has entered Andhra Pradesh and buried two plaques. In addition, Kotia Panchayat plans to hold various government programs in Fagunseneri, Fatusineri and Fagunseneri and Fatu Seneri. “Such acts of neighbourliness will be firmly suppressed,” he said. Andhra Pradesh had earlier planned to display Telugu-language signboards in 22 villages in Kotia on August 15. The Koraput district administration celebrated the 75th Independence Day in Kotia.
Andhra Pradesh backed down after the district administration, including various leaders in Koraput district, reached out and protested. Andhra Pradesh has taken the opportunity today as the district is battling the storm. It is not possible for Odisha Patu to reach the area due to the floodwaters on the Madakara Bridge, while it is not possible to reach the area due to flooding on the Suliamari Bridge.
The district magistrate also said that the Neredibalsa road under Kotia village was damaged due to the thunderstorm. With the clearing of the road by the administration, traffic on that road has become possible today. But the bridge was washed away, causing major damage.
Traffic was light at this time of night. Koraput district officials have travelled 150 km from Narayanpatna to assess the damage to people in various parts of Kotia and provide food. It will take some time for the Madkar Bridge to be repaired. “The rescue squad wasn’t called for him,” told to Media fraternity.
