CO-OP BANK STAFF DUPED BY GLITTERED GOLD MORTGAGED TRANSECTION

Paralakhemundi: An adventure discovered by Police to find malafide on sanctioned loan to one K Gopi, Goldsmith by former Branch Manager of Berhampur Central Co-OP Bank of Paralakhemundi, R.Bhujang Rao on 2016-17 financial year.
On detail enquiry it is found that Gopi taken loan of Rs.6.84 lakhs by mortgaging 460.6gms gold at BCC Bank. But while checking it was found actual gold quantities was 200.26 Gms and rest just shinning gold like glitters, according to Biswaranjan Das, Deputy Register of BCC Bank.
A written complain submitted by Binod Kumar Nanda,at Paralakhemundi Model Police Station, to take action against former Branch Manager Bhujang Rao.Case no 302/2020 under IPC 409, 468,467, 471,420 & 120(B) registered against those convicts, said IIC Vivekananda Swain of Paralakhemundi Model Police Station.
