CHSE’s +2 Answersheet Evaluation Begins; Results Likely By May 15

Bhubaneswar: The evaluation answersheets of +2 examinations conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, started from Wednesday. Around 8,000 teachers are to take part in this evaluation process being conducted in 78 centres across 30 districts in Odisha.
The evaluation of answersheets will be in two phases. The first phase from April 2 to 14 will involve 7,000 teachers. The second phase from April 16 to 28 will use around 8,000 teachers.
The CHSE has scheduled to complete the evaluation process by April 28. The results of higher secondary examinations are expected to be declared between May 10 and 15.
Due to the prevailing heatwave conditions, the evaluation process will be held in two shifts. The first shift evaluation sessions will be held from7.30 am to 12:30 pm, while the second session will be from 1.30 pm to 6.30 pm.
A total of 3.9 lakh students appeared for the +2 board exams conducted by CHSE in arts, commerce, science, and vocational education streams.
This year, a total of 24 lakh exam papers will be evaluated online and offline. Each teacher can evaluate 30 anshwersheets within five hours every day. To ensure transparency, the CHSE has decided to re-evaluate answer sheets with zero marks by two separate teachers.
