Child Marriage Stopped again at Gajapati

Paralakhemundi-At Gajapati district by the help of district administration initiatives 2 child marriage could be stopped within a week.Few days back at Parichagaon of Gumma block, where administration dashed to stop the marriage.
Now at Totagumuda of Gosani block yet again from vicious circle information reached at child protection unit cell regarding child marriage arrangements on 14th May 2021 and immediately team reached with sakhi one step desk administrator Bhagyalaxmi Natak, CWC chairman Pramod Kumar Roul, IIC Gurandi Mamata Panda, child protection unit staff Jayaprakash Badtya, ICDS Supervisor Sujata Gantayet, local anganwadi & ASHA workers with Suresh Kumar and the villagers assembled.
They verified birth certificate and immediately stopped such superstitious marriage & they also sensitized regarding its bad effect on health of girl to parents. Parents requested to present at CWC office at Paralakhemundi on 17th May 2021.
