Chief Secy. & SRC Reviewed Evacuations of People from Vulnerable area

Bhubaneswar:Chief Secretary Sri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra, Development Commissioner and SRC Sri Pradeep Kumar Jena along with senior officers of the State are reviewing the progress of the evacuation of people from vulnerable area that are likely to the affected by the cyclone Yaas moving towards Odisha coast.
They also reviewed the progress of ground level implementation of the disaster management work schedule for saving life of the people within the framework of Covid guidelines.
According to source,SRC Pradeep Jena says over 60,000 people have so far been evacuated to cyclone shelters. Over 7,000 cyclone shelters including around 860 permanent shelters have been identified by dist administration for evacuating people to safety CycloneYaas.
