Cheating on Fake Gold Mortgage at Bank 7 Arrested

Paralakhemundi,08/07/23:To borrow from gold mortgage at Bank of India branch of Paralakhemundi in the name of 11 account holders amount transferred after proper verification. But Branch Manager of BOI Manoj Kumar Palaka lodged complain on malafide of original testing of gold. Those sanctioned borrowers are Susanampuri Durga Kalyan Krishna(33) , Gamillel (44), Madhab Barik(30), Laxmi Barik(35), Sanju Amoji Rao, Sasunum Prabhakar Rao Achary, Pedanna Jaydev, Patanna Mohan Rao, Pradyumna Pradhan, Gangada Laxman Rao, Pratyush Kumar Gamango, Ganna Vavapu Brahmam. Gold loan sanctioned after verification by bank empanelled valuer GBrahmam against deposit gold. Gold loan disbursed in their respective accounts. As inspected by Balram Sahu found their gold as spurious. From zonal office Sambalpur Chandrashekhar Sahu Area Manager AMO of Brahmapur instructed to verify gold. There he marked discrepancies on deposit of actual gold. So in that case 7 accused persons arrested behind such scam. They are SPrabhakar Rao(40), PJaydev(49), Pradyumna Pradhan(53), Madhab Barik(32), Sinku Anji Rao(52) Gangana Brahmam, SDurga Kalyan Krishna(44) & they are forwarded to court, said Babuli Nayak IIC of Paralakhemundi Model Police station.
