Central Deputation For 3 More Odisha-Cadre IPS Officers!

Bhubaneswar: After Ashish Singh and D S Kutey, three more Odisha-cadre IPS Officers are all set to go on central deputation.

According to official sources, the Ministry of Home Affairs on October 11 sought information on Vigilance status of 1997-batch officer Asheet Panigrahi and Amitabh Thakur and Rajesh Kumar, who belong to 1998 batch, with regards to their appointment as Inspector General at the Centre.

The state has sent a letter informing that no criminal, HRPC-related and vigilance cases or inquiry is pending against these three IPS officers.

Panigrahi is currently serving as ADGP, Vigilance, Thakur as Transport Commissioner and Kumar posted as ADGP, SAP.

On December 6, the Centre appointed Kutey and Singh as Inspector General (IG) of Border Security Force (BSF) and Inspector General, Indo-Tibetan Border Police respectively.
