CBR and assessment camp held at UAIL
Rayagada (Badal Tah): UAIL CSR Mines organized a three-day community-based rehabilitation(CBR) and assessment camp in the mining periphery villages of Kashipur and Thuamul Rampur blocks. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with Open Learning Systems(OLS), a specialized agency dedicated to supporting the differently abled.
The camp identified and assessed the specific needs of differently abled persons in the community. Based on the assessments and recommendations of OLS, UAIL will be providing suitable assistive devices to enable the beneficiaries to lead a more independent and fulfilling life. 90 beneficiaries were identified from mines periphery villages in Kashipur and Thuamul Rampur blocks. The program was organised by Mines CSR team led by Ms Niharika Sahoo, GM-CSR mines.
