Cashew processing factory catches fire in Gajapati, short circuit suspected
Gajapati: A cashew processing factory in Gajapati district of Odisha has caught fire. The cashew factory was situated in Lavanyagarh of Gosani block in Gajapati district of Odisha.
The factory has been gutted completely. A sudden fire broke out in the factory late last night. The Paralakhemundi fire brigade personnel reached the spot and are trying to douse the fire.
Till the filling of the reports the fire personnel had not been able to control the fire yet. It is believed that the fire broke out due to a short circuit.
An investigation has been initiated in this regard.
