ROURKELA:Whenever the Honble’ Prime Minister call for any social cause, people follow it religiously, whether the call for demonetization, Janata Curfew and making sounds for corona warriors or recent call to light DIYA for corona fighters at 9 pm for 9 minutes, its fight against corona virus, a symbolic gesture. It was a grand success last evening, people across the lives come forward and do the same as asked by PM, even few families go ahead with creating sounds with different instruments to mark their solidarity for the unsung heroes of corona. But unfortunately, they sometime disobey social distancing which is the need of the hour, during this practice many people including BJP leaders were seen standing together without maintaining a minimum distance as requested.
Despite several reminders and request from our PM, people are still not following it in the market place while buying vegetable, groceries, fish or chicken. Don’t know what happens when they do this practice in market place. This adventure they do at the cost of their life as well as their loved ones.
In Gajapati market, the central market place for vegetables in sector was seen all crowded yesterday on Sunday. Buyers are pushing one another to have their share first which is unwanted in this situation. Police is now been instructed to come heavy on offenders who does not follow social distancing and moving on roads despite lockdown. Till yesterday, police has seized more twenty four wheelers, 9 Autorickshaws and 160 bikes for violating lockdown rules and filed case against them. As per the information from reliable sources, police is going to be much stricter than the past looking at social vandalism by not following repeated request by the local administration to stay at home. In fertilizer, local administration has supervised things under Sub-Collector, Panposh, Biswajit Mohapatra and rescheduled the market place in min stadium to avoid clumsiness. Few days have left to attend complete lockdown; hence, cooperation is solicited from every natives of Rourkela.
