Buck poached on road accident (!).

Paralakhemundi-By an unknown vehicle a deer ditched to death on the road. This incident occurred at Kanjranipeta of B.Katturu panchayat of Gosani block of Gajapati. With the information Forest department staff & wild life staff led by Forester, Ranger and other forest staff members Jena seized the corpse of the deer and sent to district veterinary hospital at Paralakhemundi. According to DFO Paralakhemundi Sangram Kesari, that place where corpse of deer found is an interior forest area. So those limited wild animals use to come to road for drinking water & food as summer’s waving heat wildered them too. Moreover place is under highway need of rumble strips essential to control speed of vehicles. So such concern staked at district administration for all precautionary steps, he added.
