BSNL Tower Uprooted Before Inauguration
Paralakhamundi, (Bhagabat Padhi) : At Gumma block of Gajapati district BSNL tower fixed at Parida panchayat in Marrynagar road. But due to irregularities on construction that tower fallen down. Being the landslide prone area not proper construction done.Rather under earth foundation too not done,except plain concrete made above which tower stood.So in case of light & heavy rain gradually landslide occurs & earth gradually lowered & turned big hole.As a result that tower fallen down.That seems callousness of construction where 60℅ of budget looted.Locals demanded severe enquiry. Sarpanch,Samiti member,Ward member alleged on callousness of construction of that tower.Perhaps department authorities must have monitored time to time. So bribing between contractor & Telecom department guessed,said Sarpanch.If such type of construction goes in other areas too more imperative being landslide prone area.Instead people of the areas have to face internet irregularly.A serious enquiry demanded by local people.
