BROWN SUGAR PEDDLER ARRESTED BY STF WING IN BHUBANESWAR

BHUBANESWAR: Continuing its crackdown on Brown Sugar trading, the Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch Friday seized Brown Sugar weighing 1 kg.170 gms and arrested a person in this connection at Barmunda Bus Stand, Bhubaneswar.
On the basis of reliable information, the STF officials conducted a raid and nabbed one Sk.Hassim belong to Balaosre district at Barmunda Bus Stand. The cops seized the Brown Sugar along with other incremental materials from his possession.
In connection a case was registered at STF police station under Sections 21 (C)/29 of NDPS Act 1985 for necessary legal action.
Further investigation is ON in connection with the incident, said the STF officials.
Due to sustain drive against Drug Mafias during 2020 so far STF alone has seized 22Kg.168gms of brown Sugar and detected 24 cases including this against the drug peddlers .So far STF arrested as many 44 peddlers.
