Breaking News – Gold Robber attempt and arrested by Junagarh Police

Kalahandi:Junagarh Police have arrested one of the robbers involved in the jewelry robbery case near Kalampur Chowk in Junagarh in front of Kanchan Jeweler shop.
According to the police the owner of the Kanchan Jewelry shop Ranjan Kumar Sahu today came to open his shop with a bag carrying 250 gms of Gold and 3 kgs of Silver ornaments. While opening the shutter of the shop, unknown robber came and picked up the jewelry bag and fled away.
Police Investigated the matter on the eye witness and CCTV footage nearby shops and arrested one of the accused who identified as Das Suresh ( 35) S/o- Das Madhab of Pakelapali village under Aska PS of Ganjam District. Further Investigation is continuing as said by the OIC Uttam Kumar Sahu.Basing on the report of Ranjan Junagarh OIC Uttam Kumar Sahu registered Junagarh PS case no. 68/2021 u/s 379/34 IPC and instructed to SI Krushna Chandra Swain for its Investigation.
