Blood Donation Camp organized by BIPF at IMFA

Rayagada, Novenber 25: In a commendable initiative, the Banshidhar & Illa Panda Foundation(BIPF), CSR arm of IMFA Ltd, Therubali organized a blood donation camp that saw an overwhelming response from the employees ,their family members and local youths. The event, held at IMFA Employees Club at Gopabandhu Nagar, aimed to address the critical need for blood donations and promote a culture of voluntary contribution to support local healthcare systems.
The camp was inugurated by Ashis Kumar Roy, Unit Head of IMFA Therubali in presence of Dr. Harshavardhan of DHH, Rayagada and heads of all the departments. It was graced by Haladhar Himirika, Vice-chairman, Kolonara Panchayat Samiti, Ranindra Kumar Pradhan, Naib-Sarapanch, Therubali GP, Anup Biswas, Akshya Patra from Market committee, Ashok Hikaka, representing the local community.
The camp witnessed a diverse turnout with individuals from various age groups and backgrounds coming forward to contribute to this noble cause. IMFA’s commitment to community welfare was evident as they collaborated with Blood Bank of DHH, Rayagada to ensure a seamless and organized event.
“We are thrilled to see the community’s response to our blood donation camp. It reflects a strong sense of social responsibility and solidarity among the people,” said Roy. Medical professionals and trained staff from Blood Bank were present to guide the donors and collected 51 units of Blood.
Swarup Nayak , Sr.Manager (PNL & Admn) and Shakti Prasad Panigrahi,Sr. Manager (PR), Dr.P.K.Kar along with their staff members namely Dillip, Biswaranjan, Manas, Rabi have successfully organized the camp. Staff members of BIPF named Tarun, Manasi, Sasmita, Bhagylata, Lipsa and others local volunteers Apana, Ghana,Pranabandhu under the leadership of Project Officer Prabhakar Panda coordinated the entire programme.
