BJP Appoints ‘WhatsApp Pramukh’ in Madhya Pradesh to Boost Digital Outreach
Bhopal: The BJP has introduced the role of “WhatsApp Pramukh” in Madhya Pradesh, appointing Ramkumar Chaurasia, an MSc graduate, as its first holder in Bhopal. The initiative aims to enhance digital connectivity with voters by leveraging WhatsApp to spread awareness about government schemes.
Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Chaurasia said, “This is an effort to connect with the masses and ensure government schemes reach them effectively. This pilot initiative in Bhopal will soon expand statewide.”
The BJP plans to establish a robust digital network across all 65,015 booths in Madhya Pradesh by November 20. The WhatsApp Pramukh is part of a revamped 12-member booth committee structure, which includes roles like Booth President, Mann Ki Baat Pramukh, and Beneficiary Chief. Each committee will also include three women members.
