BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik to Kick Off Poll Campaign from Hinjli on Apr 24
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to begin his election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly polls on April 24 from the Hinjli Assembly segment in Ganjam district.
He is contesting from the Hinjli seat again after winning from there five times in a row in the past. This time he is also contesting from the Kantabanji Assembly seat in Balangir district.
After Hinjli, he will campaign for the BJD in Rayagada district on April 25.
In the first phase, four Lok Sabha seats in Odisha—Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur and Koraput—and the Assembly segments under them will go for polls on May 13.
On May 20, voting will be held in five Lok Sabha seats in Odisha- Bargarh, Sundargarh, Balangir, Kandhamal and Aska—and the Assembly seats under them.
