BJD MLA Prafulla Samal Appears Before ED
Bhubaneswar: Former Odisha Minister and senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA Prafulla Samal appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.
According to reports, the ED had summoned him for interrogation related to the alleged financial irregularities at Barapada Engineering College in Bhadrak.
It was alleged that the BJD MLA and his son Prayaskanti were involved in a multi-crore scam involving Barapada Engineering College. The father-son duo allegedly misappropriated crores of rupees collected from students of the engineering college as fees and bought lands and flats in Bhubaneswar.
