BJD leaders breaking alliance with Ex-MP & BJD President N Bhaskar Rao: demand accounts details of crores of money swindled earlier in Truck Association

Rayagada (Badal Tah): In a friendly get-together organized at Silitiguda Dam on behalf of senior BJP leader and Truck Owners Association President Yala Venketeswar Rao (Konda Babu), Adi Narayan Rao, once one of the closest aide of Ex-MP & present BJD President N Bhaskar Rao, broke alliance with him and joined Konda Babu’s camp taking many at surprise. Senior BJP leader Kamala Sauanta, Dam Samaj President Narendra Naik, tribal leaders namely Madarao Saraka, Jiana Himirika, Chakra Bidika were present at the program.

After joining Konda Babu’s camp, Adi Narayan revealed some very interesting facts against former Rajya Sabha MP Bhaskar Rao. Adinarayan told the media that Bhaskar Rao, who had controlled the Rayagada Truck Owners Association for 40 years, had looted crores of rupees from the truck owners. Bhaskar only looked after his own development and never considered the interests and welfare of the truck owners. After Kondababu became the president of the Truck Owners Association for last two years, there is a deposit of Rs 2 crores in the bank account of the Association. “If there is Rs 2 crores in the name of the Truck Owners Association in last two years, then Bhaskar, who had controlled it for 40 years, has embezzled crores of money. If Bhaskar do not submit the accounts details of the truck woners’ association at the earliest, we will be compelled to stage strike and dharna in front of his house”, Adinarayan warned.

Yala Venketeswar Rao, President of the present Truck Owners Association, said that just as the JK Paper Company and IMFA Company had given the opportunity to load directly from the Truck Owners Association, they would be contacting the Utkal Alumina Company in Tikiri for direct loading arrangements. It may be noted that Utkal has engaged Aditya Logistics belonging to Bhaskar Rao in loading works. This friendly get-together will certainly be a game changer as far as local business houses like JKPM, IMFA, VEDANTA, UAIL, etc are concerned.
