BIPF invests on young women to become Atma Nirbhar
Rayagada (Badal Tah): In a significant step towards women empowerment, the Banshidhar & Ila Panda Foundation (BIPF) reopened tailoring center to benefit 25 young women from local peripheral villages. This initiative aims to enhance the skills, income generation potential and entrepreneurial abilities of these women.
The reopening ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Dharmesh Goel, VP of BIPF, M. Srinivash, GM (Much) of IMFA, Sameer Kumar Raut, DGM (HR & Admn) of IMFA, Radhasyam Panda, a renowned social worker and Director of Palli Vikash NGO, Swati Mohapatra, Manager (HR), BIPF.
During the event, Goel urged the trainees to diligently learn the intricacies of tailoring, production and marketing to uplift their lives. Srinivas encouraged them to stay updated with the latest fashion trends and build a strong brand identity. Raut and Panda assured the trainees of their full support to achieve success in their endeavors.
The program was coordinated by BIPF’s Program Officer Prabhakar Panda along with staff members Tarun, Manasi, Champa, Lipsa, Susanti, and Rabindra Kousalya from IMFA’s PR department.The women trainees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to IMFA and BIPF for their commendable initiative to empower rural women and make them self-reliant. The local denizens expect that this process will dovetail to the mega initiative of GOI named Atma Nirvar Bharat.
