Bihar CRPF Jawan Among Five Arrested in Jewellery Store Robbery Case In Ganjam Dist
Berhampur: Five persons including a CRPF jawan from Bihar were arrested in connection with the jewellery store robbery in Sunamohi village under Dharakote police limits in Ganjam district.
Police seized 2.15 kg gold ornaments and Rs 58,000 in cash from the arrested accused.
This jewellery store robbery took place on July 13. A group of armed miscreants looted gold ornaments from Sri Rudra Sahi Jewellers in Dharakote at gunpoint.
Investigation by a special police team revealed that an inter-state gang was involved in this robbery. Police identified and tracked down the accused CRPF jawan as well as four others of the gang. According to police sources, three more accused in the case are still absconding. Search is on to nab them.
