BHUBANESWAR-JUNAGARH ROAD EXPRESS UPGRADED TO LHB

Rayagada (Badal Tah): Indian Railways has taken a significant step towards modernizing rail travel in Odisha with the upgrade of the 20837/20838 Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar Super-Fast Express to Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches. The introduction of LHB coaches will enhance passenger safety, comfort, and travel experience. Known for their advanced design, these coaches provide a smoother ride, reduced noise, improved safety standards, and higher operational efficiency compared to conventional ICF coaches.

The LHB rake service will commence in the Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Train No.20837 with effect from on 25.08.2025, and in return direction the Junagarh Road- Bhubaneswar train No.20838 from Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar with effect from 26.08.2025. 

The revised composition of the train would be 17 (LHB) Coaches 02- 2nd AC Class coaches, 04- 3rd AC Class coaches, 05- Sleeper Class coaches, 04-Second Class Sitting coaches, 01-Guard cum Power Car, and 01-   Second Class Luggage cum Divyangjan coach.
