Bhitar Ratna Bhandar of Srimandir to be Opened Tomorrow

The Shree Jagannatha Temple is an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Jagannatha, a form of lord Vishnu, located on the eastern coast of India, at Puri in the state of Odisha

Puri: The Bhitar Ratna Bhandar or the inner chamber of the treasure trove of the Sri Jagannath temple in Puri will be opened on Friday, July 18.

The temple authorities have fixed 9:51 am to 12:15 pm as the auspicious time for the opening of the Bhitar Ratna Bhandar. For it, the entry of devotees into the temple will be restricted from 8 am.

On July 14, an 11-member team opened the outer Ratna Bhandar and shifted the ornaments stored in it to a temporary strong room. The temporary strong room was then sealed in the presence of the Magistrate and members of the team.
