RI in Ganjam Caught by anti-corruption wing of Berhampur Vigilance

Berhampur: The anti-corruption of wings under Berhampur Vigilance Division: on Tuesday at 13:40 Hrs arrested A.Srikanta Dora Revenue Inspector of Bhismagiri, Digapahandi Tahasil of Ganjam on bribe charge.
According to Mr Santanu Padhi, SP, Vigilance, Berhampur Monday at 13:40 PM our team caught one A.Srikanta Dora , Revenue inspector , red handed while demanding and accepting illegal gratification for Rs.5,000/-from one Subash Chandra Panda of Bhismagiri ,Ganjam for conducting demarcation of disputed land.
During the deal the bribe money of Rs.5000/- has been recovered from the left side pocket of accused Srikanta Dora wearing full shirt.
Formalities like Chemical reaction of both the hands and left side pant pocket wash of the accused RI was positive. The residence of Srikanta Dora at Gosaninuagam , Berhampur is being searched.
This relates to Berhampur Vigilance PS case no 08 dt 12.03.21 u/s 7 PC Act 1988 amended in the year 2018. The accused RI Srikant Dora has earlier been trapped vide Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS case no 26/2016 Further report follows, Padhi said.
