BHAWANIPATNA DECLARED CURFEW

KALAHANDI: Keeping in view arrival of a Special Shramik Train from Rajkot of Gujrat to Bhawanipatna Railway Station the entire locality along with Bhawanipatna town is declared Curfew u/s 144 CrPC from 12 noon of 19.05.2020 Tuesday until 6 AM of 20.05.2020.
Bhawanipatna SDM Sushanta Kumar Singh, issued official order and declared five locality nearby the Bhawanipatna Rly Station under Sadar Police limit and Bhawanipatna town under curfew.
Keeping in view of shifting of migrants from the different coaches of the train from the platform to ensure safety of the general public of Kalahandi.
It is also known from the sources that the train is having 24 coaches is scheduled to be arrive at Bhawanipatna Rly station where in 1077 belongs to Kalahandi, 59 from Anugul, 47 from Bhadrak, 2 from Boudh, 9 from Dhenkanal, 99 from Ganjam, 95 from Jajpur, 49 from Kendrapada, 83 from Cuttack, 13 from Mayurbhanj in total 1624 migrant labourers are returning.
Prior to arrival the entire station is being sanitized and separate counters are opened for the registration and health scanning of the migrants. Collector Kalahandi Dr. Parag Harshad Gavali, ADM, CDMO, PD,DRDA cum Nodal Officer, Sub Collector , RTO Kalahandi have visited the Rly station and inspect the arrangements on Monday. The migrants will be sent to their respective locations and districts by buses and to avoid any type of infection to the general public the Curfew has been declared as told by the District Collector.
