BEST POET AWARD TO BUDDING RAYAGADA WRITER MAHIMA

Rayagada (Badal Tah): Young budding writer Mahima Gantayat from Rayagada has won third place as the best poet in English category in the National Level Talent Award 2024 competition organized by Poetic Essence Publications, a renowned Mumbai based publishing house of India during last January 2025.

For this achievement in creative literature, she was eligible to be interviewed by the institution and received a certificate and memento. Mahima, who has been in creative writing in both English and Hindi from her school days in Kendriya Vidyalaya, has now created a respectable niche for herself as a young writer. Her writings get regularly published in various magazines. She has been winning awards in very many creative competitions. Known for her extraordinary oratory skills, Mahima is currently a Class XII (Arts) student and has been winning prizes by proving her excellence in competitions like debate, poetry recitation, etc adding glory to Rayagada Women’s College, where she studies.
