Berhampur,23/11/25: On Saturday morning at Berhampur Special Circuit House Conference hall Berhampur Mahanagar Mahotsav Committee organised their 13th. Mahotsav preparatory meeting. Mr.K.Anil ,MLA,Behampur joined as Chief Guest and inaugurate the 13th Festival LOGO of Mahanagar Mahotsav-2026 in presence of all invited Guests, Dignitaires,Mahotsav committee Members, representative from various local cultural organisation, members from Press were present over the meeting, while Mr. Kanhu Charan Pati,Executive committee member of Bharatiya Janata Party, Odisha and V. Santosh,President of Union Club attended as Guest of Honour Mr.Gopal Patnaik president of Mahotsav Committee presided on the meeting.
After inauguration of the Logo Chief Guest, Mr.K.Anil appriciate Mahanagar Mahotsav Committee said, “I know this better last twelve years the Mahotsav maintained its commitment to the artist, talents also giving chances to the hidden talents. Ten days long chilled evening enters with many intellectuals and to all media persons of the city to present to encourage the local cultural events with local talents.
Er.UmaShankar Panigrahy, Chairman Organising Committee of Mahotsav said that, benefit of highest merit this year, on every evening with due apology before the lord Jagannath as a token of our dedication towards Ganjam art &Traditional event, cultural programme, Odia literature debate Honesty and integrity for the larger interest of our District. It is widely accepted that there is an inseparable relation between the media, Artist, Music, Literature concept with huge audience.
Addressing to Press Mr.Gopal Patnaik, President, Mahanagar Mahotsav committee said 10-day long Mahotsav-2026 would be held from 9th. January up to 18th at Church Ground the prime location of Silk City Berhampur.
On the occasion, different dance groups would present their performance. More than 120 stalls of different districts, States would be put up, Patniak added.
Mihir Tripathy, veteran artist cum Co-Ordinator of Mahotsav committee said that, the main aim and object of the festival is to revive and protect the rich culture of the Ganjam and display its extravaganza and traditions.
