Berhampur; Youth alleges Fake Instagram ID using the identity of a Female; Uploading her photos(!)

Berhampur,( 28/11/25): Berhampur Police,CC&E.O Wing has detained a youth .accused and subsequently shown arrested for creating a fake Instagram account using the identity of a female victim and uploading her photos.
The youth confess before police, Cyber Crime & Economic Offence Wing he has create the fake Instagram profile to harass.Police are investigating the cyber threats that have caused fear for the unknown female (Secret) and to her family.
According to Police. On 26.11.2025 a victim from Gajapati reported that some unknown person forcibly took away her Mobile phone from her possession near Lingaraj Law College, Berhampur on 17.11.2025 around 6.00 PM , when she was returning to her rented house situated at Ambapua and created fake Instagram I.D. in her own Mobile phone and posted her personal (Private) photos in social media.
Police Seized one mobile phone of victim from the procession of the accused.The proper Investigation and the accused arrested: The CC & EO PS team investigated the case using cyber tools and apprehended the accused Suresh Nayak (26 yrs) s/o Bikal Nayak of Vil: Gobaralundi, PS:Badagada, Ganjam on 27.11.2025 and forwarded to the Court.
