Berhampur:-Stray Dog Sterilization Drive: 737 Dogs Sterilized in 43 Days

Berhampur, 05/03 : To control the growing population of stray dogs and ensure the safety of residents, the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) has been continuing an intensive sterilization drive across the city. The initiative, launched on January 16 under the supervision of Mayor Sanghamitra Dalei and Commissioner Prathamesh Arvind Rajeshirke, has achieved significant progress within a short period.
According to official data, a total of 737 stray dogs have been successfully sterilized and vaccinated within 43 days, up to February 27.
After undergoing surgery and recovery, all the dogs were released back to their respective locations as per standard procedures.
