Berhampur Police Recovers 35.290gms Stolen Gold, Arrests 4 including one Female.

Berhampur: One melted gold bar weighing 35.290 gms, Cash of Rs.4360/-, two mobile handset, two ATM cards and One bike,( Bajaj Pulsar OD34-C-0820) were seized by Digapahandi Police with the arrest of 4 persons, including one Female stolen from the house of Pramod Kumar Panigrahi S/o Purna Chandra Panigrahi of Gokarnapur, Digapahandi informed by Mr.Pinak Mishra, Superintendent of Police, Berhampur on Monday.
Reportedly, On 08/09.06.2021 intervening night some unknown culprits committed burglary of 5 Tola gold ornaments and cash of Rs. 25,000/- by breaking the iron grill gate, doors and Almirha of the dwelling house of the complainant.
The instant case was registered on the written report of victim Pramod Kumar Panigrahi S/o Purna Chandra Panigrahi of Gokarnapur, PS – Digapahandi, Dist. Ganjam.
During investigation four accused persons including one lady receiver have been arrested and forwarded to court today.
During the investigation, police have seized one iron crow bar and one iron which they used for offence. Based on the information, all the accused were arrested, he added.
