BERHAMPUR POLICE ORGANISED 1ST ATHLETIC MEET – 2020

BERHAMPUR:Berhampur Police is organising the First District Athletic Meet-2020 i.e. on 11.01.2020 and 12.01.2020 to promote the culture of sports and Games among the police personnel.
Berhampur police organised the 1st athletic meet -2020 at Police ground Berhampur on Friday.
Joining as Chief guest Mr Satyabbrta Bhoi,DIG (S.R),Berhampur declared the 1st Police personnel Sports Meet-2020.Addressing to Police personnel he said, He was happy that Berhampur police District has organised such event under his range.
Before start, SP,Berhampur Pinak Mishra welcomed all participants on ground and encouraged them.
Mr Mishra, said, he believed that the sports meet would be played with true sportsman spirit of police personnel. The objective of this athletic meet is to promote for culture of sports among the police personnel. Around 300 police staff of different ranks has participated in the meet.
In addition to it this event will also help fostering camaraderie .Team work and spirit of sportsmanship he further added.
Mr. Brijesh Ray, SP,Ganjam said that the police personnel from Berhampur Police district participating in sports in addition to performing their respective duties is quite commendable. Underlining the importance of discipline in sports, he said that the same discipline is already built into the forces which stand them in good stead in the field of sports as well.
The inaugural function was switched ON with Mashal in presence of all ASP,SDPO,DSP,IICs ,Media person and other police staff.
On Sunday the valedictory function of the annual athletic championship of Berhampur police district will be held in the reserve ground, ambapua at 4 Pm this evening according to Mr Prabhat Routray,ASP,Berhampur
