Berhampur Police Celebrated International Women’s Day

Berhampur: International women’s day was celebrated in the Berhampur Reserve Police campus on Monday attended by Mr Satyabrat Bhoi,DIG,(SR), and Mr.Pinak Mishra,SP, Berhampur.
All the lady officers posted in the dist in offices and police stations along with the APR and Odisha Reserve Police Constables available also attended the felicitation function.
The chief Guest, Satyabart Bhoi, DIG (SR), very clearly elaborated the essence of feminism. He stressed the need for the liberation of women and how patriarch society should care to respect the power of that liberation to develop healthy social system.
Today is international women’s day. But every day, both men and women must work towards ending gender-based violence which is very important.
Wishing the women Police staff friends, Bhoi said, “Officer, Sister, Wife, Mother, we cannot even try listing everything that we alone can’t solve their issues. So it needs collective work culture and environment. So fluently you can say; thank you Women’s Cops for the dedicated contribution.
Another attraction of the day, Mr Pinak Mishra, SP, Berhampur said, while you work under Stress which meant that “a woman Police, she can’t alone do anything even with uniform”. Because, It requires the need for the liberation of women and how patriarch society should care to respect the power of that liberation to develop healthy social system.
Many members interacted in open mind with DIG and SP.
Most of them shared their valuable suggestions/thoughts for better and quality development of the force in their respective workplace while they posted outside.
After the meeting Citation, certificates distributed to the Lady Police members of Berhampur Police District by DIG, Southern Range and SP, Berhampur.
Giving the vote of thanks Mr Prabhat Routray, Addl.SP, thanked, all women Cops irrespective of their post and position for their immense contribution and service to the society, and our district proud for all of you.
Among others,PK.Mishra,ASP, City SDPO,Bishnu Pati,Sadar SDPO,Jayant Mohapatro,RI of Berhampur Reserve Police and their staff members and all IICs’ under Berhampur police district were present over the meeting.
