Berhampur Police Arrests three Members of Interstate robbers’ Gang

Berhampur: July 26: Berhampur Police has arrested three members of an interstate robbers’ gang. The arrested persons have been identified as Santosh Kumar Nat (36), Raja Yadav(28), and Manish Kumar Yadav(25). All are from the Katihar district of Bihar.
Robbers were apprehended by a team of Berhampur special squard Police working under the direction of Berhampur SP Dr. Saravana Vivek M.
The police seized two motorcycles, one vehicle insurance certificate, many fake number plates, and fake registration certificate,driving license, three Adhar cards, six pre-paid mobile sets, and an airbag containing motorcycle lock-breaking instruments and screwdrivers.
They are also involved in other cases in Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Cuttack, and Bhadrak areas.
According to source they were robbing jewellery and cash from residents of various regions of the state.
After the theft, they left the area and looked for a secure location, where they were hiding. Because of this, it was difficult for the police to find them.
