Berhampur City a Hub of Fake Spices Production (!) Spices Manufacturing Unit Busted

Berhampur: In a crackdown on the fake production and adulteration spices units, the Gosaninuagaon police today at an early hours busted a fake spices manufacturing unit at Pandav Nagar area,Berhampur and detained one person.
According to information, by the instruction of SP, Berhampur Mr Pinak Mishra IIC,Mr Sumeet Soren , Gosaninuagaon along with police team conducted a raid at the house and seized a huge cache of raw materials and duplicate spices i.e. spurious Chilli powder,Tumeric powder,Masala Powder, tomato and chilli sauce including chemical colours, essence, logos of popular brands, packing materials of several brands also manufacturing plant machinery seized used for packing the spices packets.
The IIC,Mr Soren informed we have raided the unit basis on the intelligence input from SP and direction we conducted the raid and seized the manufacturing plant of duplicate spices in the name of several popular several brands. In connection police was seized and detained a Auto driver who identified as Linga Sahu .
Now the investigation is still ON.
