BDO & CDPO Dashed to Purunapani after Horrifying Maternity Shouldered News

Paralakhemundi-At Purunapani panchayat of RUdayagiri block a maternity care woman shouldered for 5 kms once she felt pain. From there she picked up by ambulance to Dengausta hospital of Ganjam district.That news shattered block administration,where BDO Lariman Kharsel & CDPO Lalita Pujari driven to Purunapani panchayat which is aloof from Gajapati district.They reviewed communication problem from Kumutipankala to Purunapani,which happened villagers to shoulder long 5 kms to a pregnant woman.He surprised why such construction not completed years together & instructed staff of RD & contractors to complete immediately the road.They may get support of MGNREGA too.He also assured villagers to complete the road construction soon. He also observed other amenities support of the panchayat & advised to take support of various schemes.For those maternity care of both carrying & lactatng women he advised to take shelter at Maa Gruha for safe care. Besides that he advised to take nutritious food to keep good health & monitored on services from anganwadi on regular supply of nutritious food. Assistance from health & anganwadi staff he assured. Among others staff of OLM Rajanikant Panda & others were present.
