BANK ATM CHEATING CASE BUSTED IN RAYAGADA

Rayagada, October 5: On the report of Sudhir Kumar Sadangi the above case was registered. During investigation police came to know that on 22.09.2020 when the complainant went to the SBI ATM at Tumbiguda Chowk, Rayagada, he came in contact with an unknown person, who acted to help him for Cash withdrawal. Meanwhile the accused ex-changed the ATM card of the complainant without his knowledge. On 02.10.2020 the complainant came to know that an amount of RS 2,87,331 had been deducted from his account No : 11039004341 in SBI, Rayagada. In course of investigation the accused person namely Sunil Umadala was apprehended and the stolen amount Rs- 2,23,000/- and 2 gold rings purchased from the proceeding of the remaining stolen amount was recovered. Rayagada police’s competence in exposing similar IT forgery case has been lauded by denizens of Rayagada.
