No untoward incident occurred anywhere though adequate Police quite vigil on law & order. In all 7 blocks of Gajapati district all shops are closed & local transports not plying, except emergency services like Ambulance, Medical stores and other essential commodities.
Local farmers associations addressed their woes at Mohana block to appraise on their issues which turning down their livelihoods. Congress party Leaders flagged on to their demands for common issues particularly small & marginal farmers are facing.
