Baidyanathpur Police Busted a Gang of Bikes & Mobile Phone Lifter

Berhampur:The Berhampur Baidyanathpur Police successfully busted a gang of Bikes and mobile phone lifter/ snatchers in City following the arrest of five from different places in City on Friday and recovered 13 Bikes & 57 Mobile Phones.
The cop acting on a tip-off successfully nab the gang with recovery under the guideance of SP,Berhampur and direct supervision of Rajib Lochan Panda,SDPO,(City,) Ram Chandra Murmu,Inspector in Charge and the members are SI, Bibhuti Bhusan Sethy.Girigobardhana Jena and others.
Today while addressing to scribes SP,Berhampur said quoting the premilanary success and elaborated that,based on a complaint on 04 the August one Narayan Das(38), Nigamanagar 4th lane, Ankuli, Berhampur,reported at Baidyanathpur Police station that in the intervening night of 03/04-08-2023 between 11.50 PM to 12:05 AM some unknown culprit committed theft of his Honda Unicorm.
During investigation, on the strength of concrete sources, accused Chandan Biswasara of village Talaregidi,Hinjili PS, was apprehended and on the course of marathon interrogation he confessed that he along with his associates L.Siva Reddy(26),from Gokarnapur,Digapahandi PS, Upendra Nayak , Village Aliabad PS,Chandan Biswasara Village.Talaregidi PS-Hinjili Akash Parida , Village .Nuagaon DistKandhamal, Srikanta Padhi ,of Palli Sahi ,Kankarada,Patapur PS are involved .
They too reveal that,fFom Ambika Nagar 2nd lane ,Badabazar,PS Berhampur to have committed another theft of Honda Unicorm bearing in the intervening night of 03/04-08-2023 from Nigamanagar 4th lane they also committed theft of several motor cycles and mobiles from M.K.C.G, MCH, Medical campus.
Based on their confessional statement all total 13 motor cycles and 57 smart mobiles have been recovered from the possession of the accused persons,SP said.
Public who lost their mobile phones in MKCG are kindly requested to approach BNpur PS with their bills or any other details to recieve their mobile phones and bikes.
The accused being forwarded today against the case U/S-379 IPC. and the case is still ON.
