Baba Saheb Dr.Ambedkar’s 132nd birth anniversary celebrated in Semiliguda

Sunabeda: 15/04/23: Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar’s 132nd birth anniversary was celebrated with a huge rally by the Semiliguda Ambedkar Society of Koraput district. MLA of Rayagada Makarand Mudduli attended the programme as Chief Guest while Koraput MLA Raghuram Padal and Koraput Zilla Parishad Chairperson Sasmita Meleka graced the occasion as Guest of Honour. Zilla Parishad member Mohan Jani, Block Vice President Sibay Bangari, President of Mul nivasi Organisation Ramil Kuldeep and Social Activist Sunam Hontal attended the programme as special Guest . Ishwar Naik joined the function as Chief Speaker.
The Chief Guest and other dignitaries on the dias highlighted the life and struggle of Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar and his continuous efforts in providing social justice to the downtrodden people of our country. On this occasion, state level karate champion Daniel Jani, body building champion Jeevan Sisa, tribal queen Sasmita Nag, national level karate champion Angel Abhishikta Mediaka and Ayurvedic doctor Hari Pangi were felicitated on behalf of the Ambedkar Society.Ranjan Maurya and Biswanath Dishari conducted the programme while Jagdish Khara proposed the vote of thanks. More than two thousand people participated in the said gathering.
