Awareness programme for Dibyangjans organized in Sunabeda

Sunabeda: Dt:21/06/2022: An awareness programme has been organized in the office premises of Koraput District Association of the Deaf , Sunabeda. District Resource Person of Junior Red Cross and Life Member of Indian Red Cross Society Shaheda Parween , Chintamani Prusty along with Gobinda Ballav Padhi, Durga Prasad Patra and Shantilata Patra attended the programme. They highlighted the importance of Plantation, Environmental protection, health care, cleanliness and sanitation and how to combat the menace of Corona virus and Dengu. They also distributed Red Cross Hygiene Kit to the needy Dibyangjans of the locality. Interpreter of the Deaf Association Meena Kumari Prusty translated the message of the Red Cross members in Sign Language for the benefit of deaf persons at the gathering. President of Koraput District Association of the Deaf Shaik Ibrahim coordinated the programme while Ranjan Kumar Sahu, B. Sridevi Rao and other members of the association cooperated in conducting the awareness programme.
