Atal Tinkering Lab Inaugurated at BJEMS

Bhubaneswar:Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School II, situated in Satyabhamapur, inaugurated its Atal Tinkering Lab with great fanfare. The objective of this scheme is to foster curiosity, creativity, and imagination in young minds; and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc.
The inaugural ceremony was conducted on 1st Nov and it was graced by Sri Ashok Chandra Panda ,Honorable minister of Science & Technology, Public Enterprises ,Social security and Empowerment of Persons with Disability Government of Odisha as Chief Guest. Sri Arabindha Dhali Honorable MLA jayadev constituency district Khurda was present as the Guest of Honour along with the other esteemed guests, Chairman of BJ Education Society Sri Raghunath Mishra, Vice-chairman Sri Aswin Tiwari, Manager Sri Pratap Ku Jena and Principal of BJEMS-II Mrs Khyanika Das.
The valedictory ceremony was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr. Pothula Srinivasa Brahmananda Double Guinness World Record Holder and Principal Scientist , Institute of water management , Bhubaneswar while the Guest of Honour was Dr. Aneeya Kumar Samantara, Post Doctorate fellow School of Chemical Sciences, National Institute of Science Education and Research Program.
The inagural day proceeded with Atl community Training and Learning which was carried out by trainers from TECHB. Students from 10 different schools had participated in the learning program which lead to project development and competitive learning. The day got its pearl when Raseswari Nayak was felicitated as ATL Brand Ambassador of BJEMS-II..
The present guests reiterated on the same and added that the Lab will enable and empower students and teachers to develop a creative mindset, which will pave the way forward for transforming India.
