At Least 3 Dead as Bus Falls into Gorge After Suspected Terror Attack in J&K
Srinagar: At least three pilgrims were killed after suspected terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims from a shrine in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Sunday, according to police sources. The bus, which was returning from the Shivkhoda temple to Katra, plunged into a gorge following the attack.
Initial reports suggest the perpetrators are the same group of terrorists currently hiding in the upper regions of Rajouri, Poonch, and Reasi. Upon receiving news of the attack, police teams immediately arrived at the scene.
While the exact number of casualties is still being determined, authorities fear that more lives may have been lost.
