ASHA Worker Gheraoed by Public on Covid-19 Jinx

MOHONA: Administration taken belligerent stand on any attack on health staff as per notifications of state government. Still it is found, as Covid-19 warriors; when doctors, anms, health workers, anganwadi & ASHA workers still not protected despite their strong commitments.

At Raising village of Mohana block a feast arranged few days back. RATs of those invitees done by local ASHA worker.Among them 9 persons found positives. Later on those goons of the village cautioned ASHA worker on detecting list of positive cases.

Rather they retorted that instead to send at Covid hospital those infected persons will loss their lives.With anger they destroyed mobile set of ASHA worker.Mohana police reached at village & compromised  with the villagers.

Later on head of covid diagnosis unit Dr.MSibram, BPM Bibhu Prasad Kar visited to ASHA worker home & got informed on update status.No case registered at Mohana police station,says IIC Sujit Kumar Nayak.
