ARNAB GOSWAMI TAKEN TO TALOJA JAIL; PLEADED TO THE SUPREME COURT FOR ITS INTERVENTION

ROURKELA: On Sunday morning around 9 am Arnab Goswami was taken to jail by police van which was covered with black trampoline. All efforts were made that he couldn’t talk to the media, especially Republic TV.
As no other media is covering this story because of mean mindset, Republic TV with its bold journalists now is doing this duty for the country. It was pathetic to see Arnab was pleading with folded hands to its journalist to save his life, on quote he was saying ‘my life is under Threat’ and I am assaulted this morning, hence, the Apex court of this Country and the Centre should intervene and provide him the bail.
Don’t understand what is happening in this case, everybody is a mere spectator and the Maharashtra Govt. and the Maharashtra police are doing as they wish without any valid points. Coming so hard on a Journalist cum editor-in- Chief of a leading news channel of the country is shameful. Even none must have seen such incident after emergency was imposed by Congress Govt. long back. In this modern world, incident of this type is making this country a laughing stock in front of the entire world. Most surprisingly the Central Govt. is clueless and its leaders are coming on the national TV showing their sympathy and condolences for this poor chap, Arnab.
A brave fighter and a Nationalist like Arnab is pushed behind the jail for nothing but for his straight forwardness and unbiased journalism. As a journalist I also feel shame that media fraternity excepting Republic TV is hiding behind their news room. These news channels cover everything from a road accident to big shopping advertisements but did not find time to report this. There is no word for these unprofessional journalists’ who are forgetting their duty and supporting injustice indirectly by not reporting it to the common people of this country. Now they are much more engaged in reporting USA election as if USA president will rule our country. May more intellectuals, Ex. Army men, writers, Social activists are coming forward to fight for Arnab and showing their solidarity for Arnab.
On Sunday evening a group of intellectuals and ex Army men are visiting the Hon’ble President of India to take a note of it and to intervene in this matter, the only choice left, said one of the participating members. They said no faith is left on the central govt. as no action is being taken yet for Arnab to give him the due justice. The monopoly of the Maharashtra Govt. is criticized by people from all corners. The common demand is to free Arnab and to bring back justice at any cost.
